Norman Lewis was an acclaimed writer of self-help books on English language. He wrote over 60 widely popular books on improving various aspects of English such as vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. Some of his most famous books include 30 Days to Better English and Word Power Made Easy. Lewis was born in 1912 in Brooklyn, New York, and he earned his master’s degree from Columbia University. Apart from writing, Lewis also taught English throughout his career. He initially taught at the City College of New York and New York University, after which he moved to the Rio Hondo College. He died in 2006.
