Excellent book, but do you need it?

As other reviewers have mentioned, it's an excellent book, since the author had the privilege to work in some of the top software companies that we aspire to.
But if you're hoping to crack one of those interviews as the author would like you to, by reading her book, you'll be disappointed. No book containing just questions (150 in this case) can cover the vastness of the software field.
So, my advice would be to first study the topics of algorithms, programming etc. from good books. If you st...

Do the thinking after you buy it.

I have gone through many interview prep books and frankly speaking, there isn't any better alternative out there. Some are loosely organized, some are bland and some are too C -centric. These days, most coders like me are usually comfortable with Java and C# concepts and with the liberty in interviews to code in any language, this insider's account of interviews and how to prepare for it is apt and meaty. I also think that you should not stick to any particular timeline for buying this book...

Good book for practising the mock interviews for IT giants.

I was preparing for an interview and I have prepared my syllabus well. I have prepared DS, OS, computer architecture, core programming concepts, practised logical programming, almost everything that needs to be done. Still I was not feeling confident, I was totally unaware how to prepare and what to prepare. As I am currently working in a tier 2 product based company and preparing for a Giants like, MSFT, FB, Google is a big step for me. It is the area that I am completely unaware of, I was n...

Excellent !!!

This book delivers exactly what it promises. Indispensable and professionally written! I am writing this review because I am very satisfied with the content and presentation as well. Rarely does a book has both these qualities. I would recommend it to any one considering to buy a book on technical interviews for CS. This can easily be the top choice.

You don't need to waste Rs. 398

Do you think a person can summarize interview questions & answer in one book & that will be used for everybody who will buy this book?
I don't think so..
Google is better to find appropriate question for your desired domain & you will get the answer too..

Other wise you are on your own..who knows you wanna buy a History Book & then a book of Itihas(in Hindi) just to convince your parents that you are on right track..LOL
