Summary of the Book

Billy and Sheena are back to visit their uncle, the marine biologist Dr. Deep. They join him in his search for a sunken pirate ship, the fabled Scarlet Skull. The Skull was said to have disappeared behind a black cloud in the late eighteenth century, carrying a wealth in gold and jewels. The trio dive into the depths with their submarine. They pass through a black cloud and “Dr. D” disappears. And then, the zombie pirates appear out of the abyss as the submarine crashes into the Scarlet Skull. What has happened to Dr. D?
