Brooke Moore and Richard Parker have taught philosophy at California State University, Chico, for a long time, since 1970 in Moores case and since 1972 in Parkers. Moore has a bachelors degree in music from Antioch College and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Cincinnati; Parker received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas and his PhD from the University of Washington, both in philosophy.
