Its deep purple domed heads reach about 6 to 7 inches in diameter and are rich in antioxidant anthrocyanins.Insect resistant, this variety is tolerant of light frost and tops out at 18 to 24 inches. Its flavor is sweet, and its color may change to green during cooking. Blanching is not required.
