Definitely not a gel seat cover. It is something like rubberized foam, like the one you can see in those smiley balls. But comfortable enough. Justifies its price. If you really want gel, go for btwin. Also not that easy fit but not difficult either, not suitable for bigger seats of indian bicycles. Fits perfectly on my hero.
