Decent & I find it simple and attractive design compared to tplink in this range.
Performance is good so far,
2.4Ghz range is awesome compared to that of my old tplink and transmits upto 95 mpbs in my 100mbps connection. (Note the device or phone that you use should not be limited to 50/72 mbps link speed) since it affects your internet speed.
5Ghz range is as usual shorter compared to 2.4 GHz, however it transmits upto 100-130 Mbps at times.
Have not faced any wifi drops so far.

A:It's newer compared to 841, also has flash memory and Ram making it slightly faster, and will get longer support support updates from Dlink. For general home use there won't be much difference

A:dir 1260.. its a good router. earlier i have 825 to which if i connect more than 5 device on 60mbps line the speed started to detoriate. But with 1260 with 9 device connected i'm getting 57-58mbps
