It was surprising to see how beautifully Damodaran has managed to put all the important concepts in place.
Once you start reading the book with each page you get to read something new , something that's very interesting in the world of finance.
Damodaran has explained the correct P/E multiple through an equation which I liked the most.

Basic principles
Recommended for people who have a fair understanding of how to read a company's financial statements, and want to proceed towards understanding various valuation methods. Scholarly work on equity valuation
I read this book end to end. I found it really good book. It is comprehensive and easy to read although written by academic. He gives lot of case studies. I think he prefers DCF valuation model more. Damodaran really knows a lot about equity valuation. No wonder he is recognized as international valuation expert. I have checked his web site also and that is equally rich with information and templates. The book and his web site are highly recommended for serious value investors.

Utterly Disappointed
Looks like a pirated copy; a Xerox of the original. Moreover, the font is very small because of the small dimension of the book. In my case, even the cover page is opposite of the content. Since this is standard text book and is a good reference book, I would suggest going for a book of bigger dimension and quality. Price conscious people can however, go for it.
