Great Book

It's a great book for people who have a basic knowledge of the C or C++ language
All the concepts and principles are explained in high level of details

But it's a book not for the beginners

Before using this book I recommend the you get your 'Pointers' concepts perfect

Beginner's beloved!

The perfect book to learn Data Structures for introductory level. Simple and clear language makes reading swift. This book is written for undergraduate level and uses both C & C to teach and demonstrate data structures.

Needless to mention that book assumes prior knowledge of C or C . And one of the best book to learn the C language is 'Thinking In C ', by Bruce Eckel.

Simply splendid!

This book is an excellent one to learn data structures. Concepts are initially explained and algorithms are given. The authors then proceed to show implementation in c/c . So it's a great read even if you want to implement in a different language.

An interesting application usually follows the concept and the problem set is fun and challenging if you've got the time.

Overall, a must read for anyone learning the basics of DS

Too basic

I have this book and its too basics for Mumbai University and it does not have complete programs just snapshots here and there. None of the advanced programs are covered in this book.
