The book is a collection of poems which attempts to capture the rallying cry of our thoughts that often enter the virgin territories of complex emotions, primarily during the night. The poems coalesce different roles of our mind- the jury, the judge and the executioner, humbling our existence and trying to get closer to life, in some form or the other. This poetry book might give refuge to some part of your soul that is always rambling through the searches about love, relationships, afterlife, chaos and dreams.

Ashwathi Mohan worked in advertising and digital marketing as a copywriter for over five years. She later worked on several films and web-series as a talent manager. Growing up, Ashwathi maintained a personal diary where she would document her poems and journal her daily record of events. When she suffered an existential crisis at a young age, she realized the importance of publishing, as it was only through the writings of other people, that she found some hope and direction. Last year, she co-authored two poetry books Secrets of Flowers and Decalcomania but she considers this book as her premiere into the world of poetry. This book is a collection of poems that she hopes will usher people into their unanswered realms of philosophical inquiries. You can find her on Instagram under the username @ashwo_mohan or follow her writing page @decemberdiaries.
