Life depends on your use
I have a Dell inspiron laptop. The battery got damaged after one year of use. That's when I realized that the battery life depends very much on your use. Once you charge the battery, you should discharge it completely. If you are using your laptop connected to a power source, then its better you remove the battery.
This way you can increase the life of the battery....

i bought it for my dell N5010.. i thought i ll do justice to my laptop which has till date never crashed, looks still fresh and works perfectly.. my only issue was ma battery which died after 1 1/2yrs of use.. hope it serves another 1 1/2 yrs..
after 1 month of using it, i find it exactly like the in-box one.. stays upto 3hrs on avg performance.. and its cheaper too.. thanks to flipkart

Good battery and excellent delivery
After my first battery ran out its lifetime (lasted 20 months), I bought this battery from flipkart. Got it pretty fast and nice packaging - packaging is very important esp if its raining most of the time. Since then running just fine with better backup on windows than on ubuntu.
