Nowadays, they say that technology is taking over the world and mankind is becoming obsolete due to this; probably true. Though, imagine the fear that human beings must have felt when they first witnessed the advent of technology. Directed by Walter Lang and starring Spencer Tracy, Gig Young and Katherine Hepburn, Desk Set is a comedy romance film about how two highly intelligent individuals who confront over the usage of computers for their TV network's research department. Due to the insecurity of losing their jobs, the employees who work for the broadcasting network unleash chaos.
