  • Description

The Difference between You and Me, by Madeleine George, is a tender story that depicts how difficult it is to choose what is important in life when it comes to choosing either the one you love and what you believe in. The fast-paced melancholic story will keep you gripped till the end.

    Summary of the Book

Jesse decides to cut her own hair with a Swiss Army knife! She starts wearing big green boots that resemble what fishermen wear. She establishes NOLAW, the National Organization to Liberate All Weirdos and is the only member yet. Emily, the vice-president of the student council, wears sweaters with artificial pearl buttons. She has a boyfriend. She and Jesse have absolutely nothing in common, except for the intense "private time" they share every Tuesday afternoon. Jesse wants their relationship to be out in the open, but Emily doesn’t, as she thinks she would lose too much. They hence find themselves belonging to opposite sides of a fiery school conflict.
