    Best DSP book ever!

It seems like god himself came from heaven and wrote this book.
Mathematical derivations are supplemented by intuitive explanations which make this book an indispensable tool in Digital Signal Processing and all i can say that this book is an unrepayable gift by John G. Proakis!
I wish if he could write a book on continuous time LTI systems as well!

    This is it!

I was looking for a detailed book which might give me insights on signal processing as my daily work revolves around image processing in one way or the other. This book is really helping me a lot in clearing out the basics & taking it to a whole new level..

Must buy book for anyone looking to build solid foundations for DSP.

    Nice Book

Excellent delivery services from Flipkart. Kudos!

This book gives a thorough background of DSP and is perfect for beginner courses. The entire book reading may take upto two semesters or one year, but a one-semester course is also easily readable and understandable.

This is a good book for those not having a previous background in Signals and Systems.

    Easy to understand

great book with many references and detailed concepts.Practical applications of most of the concepts has been given which is generally skipped by authors and is a very important part in the learning procedure. Also there are many illustrations in the book for easy application of the concepts..

A book for rookies in mathematics

It is a good book for digital signal processing I admit but it lacks solid mathematical background. It doesn't has good link with mathematical concepts its like giving merely procedure to solve problems. So this book is like a god for rookies in mathematics(who escape from mathematics) but for students who want mathematical insight in every concept like me,this book is not that good.I suggest Digital signal processing by Thomas.J.Cavicchi.Then read this Proakis book.It will be better.
