Description
Captain Ranvir (Parmeet Sethi) is assigned the task of apprehending two terrorists named Shaka (Ajay Devgan) and Dara (Amrish Puri). Upon arrival in the region, he meets with and falls in love with Radhika (Sonali Bendre), the daughter of Rajasaheb (Shakti Kapoor). The latter approves of him and arranges his wedding with his daughter. Before the engagement could take place, Ranvir finds out that he has a rival in Shaka who was in love with Radhika before. Shaka's real name was Shyam whose father was a nationalist. Radhika's father who was against his daughter's affair with Shyam had used his political power and got him arrested along with his father on false charges of terrorism. Shyam's father had died after a severe torture forcing Shyam to escape and join a terrorist group. Ranvir decides to postpone his wedding until such time he arrests Shaka and his associates - a decision that will not only pit him against well-armed terrorists, but also result in the abduction of a bus-load of Vaishnodevi devotees - which include Radhika and her aunt.
