He is the recipient of Madhaorao Chandorkar Gold Medal and XII All India English Teachers Conference for topping M. A. (English) programme, besides various honours and awards for creative publications. At present he is Associate Professor of English at Dhanwate National College, Nagpur, Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj, Nagpur University. He teaches Romantic poetry, Victorian fiction, Modern Poetry, Modern Fiction, Criticism, Research Methodology at undergraduate, postgraduate levels and guides research students, He has published Rangdhoon: Saj Ani Gaj, edited (Criticism on paintings), two anthologies of poems, Kanpa Ani Prandhoon, Paradh, Ani Ayudh, Jatau Ani Etar Katha, (Anthology of short stories), Chakrabalicha Pravas (Anthology of prose lyrics). His book, Science Fiction : Fantasy and Reality is published by Atlantic Publishers and Distributors Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi. The paintings on his poems are exhibited twice by renowned painters Arun Morghade and Subhash Patle. His forthcoming publications in English are Gramgeeta (Translation from Marathi, 9348 lines in verse), Gramgeeta : Tradition and Reality (Criticism).
