Summary of the Book

When you are someone with a deadly dark side like Dexter Morgan, a witness is only bad news. Dexter has never let anyone witness his darker side which is brought about by his dark passenger. Being a serial killer in disguise is quite a risky life to live. A blood splatter analyst with the Miami Police, Dexter has always kept is life outside work a secret. However, this time, he is not so lucky. Someone has witnessed an act of his and knows of his terrifying avatar. Dexter is feeling threatened and things get worse when he learns that this witness is behaving just like him and following him around. The only intention of this double is to somehow kill Dexter. Will Dexter be able to put an end to this impostor?
