Oil Pulling essentially involves swishing a mixture of oil in your mouth for approximately 8-10 minutes. This is mainly done to remove bactaria boost saliva production, and encourage a healthy oral microbiome. It is an ancient practice that is often associated with Ayurveda. The most used oils include Coconut Oil and Sesame Oil. This is a complementary practice and not a substitute for traditional orsi care practices.
Take 8 to 10 ml of undiluted oil in your mouth. Swish it around for 5-10 minutes. Do not swallow. Spit it out and rinse your mouth with water. It is suggested to follow this routine before brushing, two times a day, to remove the bacteria and oil from your mouth
