The epic's enigmatic villain finally speaks his mind through this title on people, their motives and their machinations - an empathetic interpretation of the eldest Kaurava’s character by the author.
Summary of the Book
Duryodhana was the warrior who stood up for Karna when the latter was insulted for the situation of his birth; Duryodhana was the son of Hastinapur’s emperor, and the prince who would have rightfully acquired the throne if not for Yudhisthira. The world has always seen Duryodhana as one of the evil reasons behind the battle of Kurukshetra. But this book explains how any war is fought only when both the sides agree to it. In this title, the author explores the circumstances and motivations that coaxed the Kaurava prince to choose the path that he did. He tries to study the mind of a man as the sinned against as the sinning.
