The author hails from the eastern belt of India from one of the first truly cosmopolitan towns in India, named Jamshedpur, also known as Tatanagar. The town has a great mix of the population from all ethnicity, culture, and linguistic background which also makes it a hub for a variety of cuisine, festivals, and traditions. The author was born to a Bengali family and brought up in this cosmo environment grew up speaking and writing in Hindi fluently, which is not very common for people from Bengal. From a very young age, the author took on writing short poems and stories that remained encapsulated in the pages of his diaries and occasionally came out in closed group functions. He has been always appreciated for his usage of very simple language in his writings yet leaving an intense message with the audience. He kept his writing away from public platforms as he did not want to mix it with his professional image. Finally, with the pen name of B Rochak, he decided to tell his stories to the world.
