About The Authors
The author of this book, Allen J. Bard, is also a renowned chemist from New York City. Apart from this book, Bard has written two other books, and they are Chemical Equilibrium: Electrochemical Methods, and Integrated Chemical Systems: A Chemical Approach To Nanotechnology.
Bard was born on the 18th December, 1933, in New York City. He completed his Undergraduate degree from City College Of New York, and went on to finish his Master’s, and Doctoral degree from Harvard University. Since the year 1958, Bard has been working at the University Of Texas, Austin, while being a visiting professor at few universities. Till date, he has published over 800 peer-reviewed research papers, and has over 23 patents to his credit. He currently holds the position of the Hackerman-Welch Regents Chair Professor of Chemistry, at the University Of Texas, along with being the director of the Center For Electrochemistry.
Larry R. Faulkner is a renowned academic, and businessman from America.
Larry Ray Faulkner was born on the 26th of November, 1944, and completed his Bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University, studying Chemistry. He also holds a Doctoral degree in Chemistry from the University Of Texas, Austin. Through the course of his career, Faulkner has served as a lecturer at universities such as the University Of Illinois, Harvard University, and the University Of Texas, where he served as the President, from 1998 to 2006. He has also served as the President of the Houston Endowment Inc., from the year 2006-2012. On the 9th of February 2006, Faulkner was made President Emeritus by The University Of Texas System Board Of Regents, which is the highest distinctions by this system.
