This is a work of rare scholarship, comprising compilation of architectural expressions from the Sanskrit Literature. The terms included in this Encyclopaedia are primarily those found in the Manasara. The number of terms approximate nearly three thousand of which about one fourth are new terms and the rest are classical in origin. The source material comprises of some 50,000 Pages of rare archaeological documents.
