I will be really honest about my opinion on this book. It is really tough to decode the meanings of the poems by Rumi. But if you are really interested and ready to give it a read for several times then go for it. It is no doubt a masterpiece in itself. Coleman barks has done a amazing job translating it.
I use this book as my everyday guide. I go through one single poem each day grasp the meaning and soak it in my heart.
