when compared to flash cards available, mode of learning in this book is different. The words are same compared to the flash cards, in this book there is a new way of learning the words. These words are divided in the group of 10 alphabetically and after every group there are 3 exercises which are based on the 10 words. That is a good technique in order to remember the words. The only good point is it retains the old favorite of GRE takers - the famous Barron's High Frequency Word List. However it is not of any use if it won't test the sentence equivalence or text completion as per the new format.
