Every Seventh Wave is the sequel to the popular epistolary novel, Love Virtually.

    Summary Of The Book

Emmi and Leo do not know each other, they do not even know of each other’s existence. But, by accident, because of a slight mistake in an email address, an email ends up in the wrong inbox, and they exchange a polite email to set things right. Then, their curiosity kindled, they begin to exchange e-mails. At first, it is just a growing casual friendship. Soon, it begins to cross over into mild flirtation. And then, it begins to go beyond that, as each begin to take a romantic interest in the other.

Romance over the internet is not new, but this relationship is not destined for a smooth voyage. For, Emmi is married, with two stepchildren. This novel leaves the readers in suspense, wanting to know what happens next. Every Seventh Wave picks up after this. Leo has left Austria for America, and has stopped using his previous e-mail address. But, Emmi keeps sending mails to this e-mail ID, hoping for some response, and when she does not get any, she becomes frustrated.

Meanwhile, Leo has become engaged to an American, Pam. When Leo returns to Austria and checks his old mail ID, he finds all the e-mails from Emmi, and they get in touch again, which in turn renews their forgotten romance. The situation is even more complicated in Every Seventh Wave, as both Emmi and Leo are currently in different relationships. Yet, their attraction for each other refuses to die, and they eventually meet each other. But this does not result in any definite resolution of their problems.

Every Seventh Wave has the main characters searching for a resolution without much success. But then, a third party intervenes, and it quickly heads towards a final solution.
