    A must read for everyone

A well written book without any melodrama. Makes a thrilling read right from the first page till the last.Amritadi's style of writing is very simple n fluid. Being a journalist myself it was easy to relate the stories, incidents and plots. A page turner indeed as u can visualize every bit of it. I wish the script is adapted for the silver screen soon.

    A wonderful and racy read.

An insight into the domain of journalism, media business and high society through the eyes of the protagonist makes a very alluring reading. The evolution of Rasha Roy, from a beginner to a pro, with the experiences associated, will be definitely identified by many as their own, specially in the corporate sector. The author has a great story telling sense and best part which appeals is the ability to translate the factual aspects to fictional form. The critically contrasting reflection of the...

    its surely a keep!!

book Exit Interview by Amrita Mukherjee gives an insight to the fact that these exit interviews are nothing but corporate histrionics. Rasha Roy , the protagonist is a journalist by profession and a crusader by nature, and a staunch believer of the fact that there is always a new horizon to conquer. She makes it a point to move to Dubai much against the wishes of her perfect middle class Indian parents , who are always over caring and would never approve of 3:00 am friends .
    Rasha moves on t...

One of the best books I read this year

Exit Interview is a thrilling account of a college student whose passion is journalism. It takes her to places and through unbelievable experiences of life. The narrative is very detailed and immensely enjoyable as the reader can identify with many places and characters. The book has a cinematic quality with its jump cuts and flashback within flashbacks. This book not only holds a reader glued to it, but also may be a film directors delight.

The underbelly of journalism and the spunky Rasha

The book is a fast and pacy read and engages you right from the start - the first half is almost like a thriller where I kept turning the pages eagerly to find out what would happen next while the next half of the book is more descriptive in nature about experiences and locales. The underbelly of journalism is well described here and the various challenges a woman faces at the workplace and how Rasha (the protagonist) manages to circumvent these situations.

At times, specially in the latter ...

The life of a young journalist!

Just finished Amrita Mukherjee's 'Exit Interview'. It is a must for all aspiring journalists.

I did not realise when the 300 odd pages finished. Her writing style is fluid with a keen eye for details.

I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Waiting for her next book!
