It works fine. It protects my hair from friction. Indeed my hair doesn't get so messy after using this. However the elastic band is not adjustable, hence it may hurt ears or forehead at times. Also it leaves a colour mark on my pillow.

Q:Does it have a tie band or elastic?

A:Elastic and hence not adjustable. If you have a big head like mine, it will take time to get use to it as it hurt a lot in the very beginning.
