Clove is a culinary herb cum condiment, which is bitingly pungent, sweet in a way but full of fragrance. This is an important component of Indian garam masala. Cloves are used in lot of Asian cuisine lending flavor to meats, curries, and marinades, cloves may be used to give aromatic and flavor qualities to hot beverages, often combined with other ingredients such as lemon and sugar. Cloves are used in Indian ayurvedic medicine where the essential oil is used as an anodyne (painkiller) for dental emergencies. These clove buds are handpicked and free from living insects, mites and moulds and are free from any dead insects, fragments, chemicals, pesticides and toxins. Before packing it is cleaned and handpicked to ensure its purity and hygiene.
