this microphone is very good in the terms of sound and build quality.
microphone capsule is very sensitive so it can capture very high and low frequency. if you want to reduce background noise, you should turn down the level of mic gain.otherwise it will capture noise, this is not a problem of microphone.
all sensitive microphone captures noises so if you want to use this microphone for music instrument recording, you should record sound in sound proof room.
