Most frames are metallic, there are pvc rods in the middle for support.
One suggestion for fellow buyers- do not move it too often as it may damage the pvc rods.
I advice everyone to buy 78*60*5 mattress for comfortable sleep.

Product is good. Got it at 6200. I love in rented apartment and was looking something which is easy to install and uninstall if I move to another place. But at the same time should look good and elegant. This product fits all criteria .. good to have it
