About Jearl Walker
Jearl Walker is a renowned author, and academician from Pensacola, Florida.
Apart from this book, Walker has written a number of other physics books, and they include Fundamentals Of Physics : A Must-Have Resource Book CBSE, JEE, And NEET-UG Syllabi For Class-12, Fundamentals Of Physics: Student Solutions Manual, Principles Of Physics, and Clouds In A Glass Of Beer: Simple Experiments In Atmospheric Physics.
Walker was born in the year 1945, in Pensacola, Florida, and was brought up in Fort Worth, Texas. He completed his B.S degree from Massachusetts Institute Of Technology, studying Physics, and later went on to pursue his Doctoral degree in Physics from the University Of Maryland. He has written 152 articles for the Scientific American Magazine, in The Amateur Scientist section. He presently holds the position of a Professor at Cleveland State University, teaching Physics. Walker is the first individual to have ever received the Outstanding Teaching Award from Cleveland State’s College Of Science.
