About Faizullah Khan

Md. Faizullah Khan is an Assistant Professor in French at the Centre for European and Latin American studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He completed his M.Phil. from the Centre for French and Francophone Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and his thesis was Cultural Hybridity and Translation in the Short Stories of Bhism Sahni. He has received the K. J. Mahale Award for Academic Excellence in the year 2006. Khan has translated many short stories in several Indian languages into French. Some of them have been published in reputed national and international journals. Faizullah is currently involved in his doctoral work on The representation of India in the French Translation of Premchand's Short Stories.
