Awesome Bridge Camera In This Price!!
Pros:
Fantastic mindblowing 46x zoom..in this price that is extraordinary..Auto focaus works fantastic even with the lense fully extended. But as any photographer knows you have to use a tripod other wise motion blur is must in that zoom range
a wide f2.9 is fantastic option in this camera along with cmos censor..

i got it for 17 k only.. and a month of my buy i took my time to make a review on it...
its indeed a great product of fujifilm..
Its zoom of 46 x is superb.. and this camera is not hard to handle.. specialy well suited with the worderfull features.. :) :)
aldou the sensor is not too good... but worth a buy for beginners. :)

Fujifilm FinePix S 8500 Advanced Point & Shoot Camera
HDMI cable is missing, rechargeable cells and charger wasn't sealed pack.
Photographs seem to be nice, decent and crisp. Best thing is the deal what is being offered by Flipkart. For more serious reviews about the camera please refer to snapsort.com or some other photography blog.
One star is less because of missing HDMI cable/old rechargeable batteries and charger.

HDMI cable missing
HDMI cable was missing(also invoice was not in package). Someone did open the package before it was delivered(or flipkart purposefully staged this).
No much issues with missing HDMI cable though.
Seems like good camera,and is (very) slighty higher zoom than other 500mm lens that I checked with a DSLR.
Not tested all features of camera yet on first day(1 less star for missing cable).

The camera is equipped with a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor for high quality photo and video capture. It can record videos at Full HD resolution as well.
The camera features a 7.62 cm (3 inch) LCD TFT display with 460,000 dots. The screen allows you to preview scenes and see them once you have captured, in high quality. The camera features an electronic viewfinder too.
The camera features various shooting modes that make capturing images easy and perfect. The modes integrated in this device are SR Auto, Auto, Adv, Program, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, Manual, Custom and Panorama.
The camera provides a maximum shutter speed of 1/1700 sec to capture fast moving objects, while the minimum 1/4 second shutter speed lets you capture low light scenes with great detail.
The device comes with an ISO range of 400-3200 in the Auto mode equivalent to ISO 100 to 12800, enabling high-quality shooting in low-light conditions, without the need for flash.
While capturing moving subjects, you can hold down the shutter button down to click up to 1.1 shots per second.
The camera is designed with a Fujinon 46x optical zoom lens. It has a focal length of 4.3 mm to 198 mm and aperture of F2.9 on wide and F6.5 on tele.
The camera comes with a built-in flash with flash modes such as Auto, Red-Eye Reduction, Suppressed Flash, Forced Flash and Slow Synchro. It has a range of 4 m to 7 m on wide and 2.5 m to 3.6 m on tele.
The camera is compatible with SD, SDHC and SDXC (UHS) cards to store images and videos. Images are captured in the JPEG, EXIF 2.3, DCF, DPOF and MPO formats, while movies are stored in H.264 (MOV).
The camera can be connected to other devices using the high-speed USB 2.0 and Mini HDMI connectivity feature available on the device.
Powered by AA Alkaline batteries, you can capture images and videos conveniently. These batteries can be replaced when they have drained out.
