This camera features a back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor that significantly enhances the picture-quality of an image. On the other hand, the X-Processor 4 is combined with an algorithm that improves the Film Simulation modes to help this camera track moving objects better. Additionally, this image processing engine boosts this camera’s AF speed and accuracy so that you can enjoy a wide range of video functions.
Thanks to its increased read speed and high-speed processor, this mirrorless camera offers continuous shooting up to 30 FPS via the electronic shutter. And, in doing so, it maintains a smooth Live View of 60 FPS so that you can track your subject easily.
You can choose from 16 different Film Simulation modes to do creative justice to your photographs.
This effect makes for deeper colors and gradations even in the subjects that have highly saturated colors.
Not only has this camera’s phase detection AF area been increased, but its low-light AF sensitivity has also been extended from -1 EV to -3 EV so that you can make the most of high-speed AF even in poor lighting conditions. Additionally, the face-detection AF has been increased by two times for a moving object and the eye-detection AF runs in AF-C mode so that you can take crystal-clear pictures.
You don’t need the optional vertical grip as this mirrorless camera offers continuous shooting (11 FPS) with just the mechanical shutter.
This camera supports 4K/60P HDMI output and 4K/60P internal SD recording at the same time. Thanks to that, you can take a backup video or you can conduct 4K/60P internal SD card recording even when you’re monitoring 4K/60P footage.
Once you install the FUJIFILM Camera Remote app, you can pair this camera with your smartphone/tablet using Bluetooth.
