Gajapati Kulapati  (English, Paperback, Rajagopalan Ashok)

I purchased this book on flipkart (it was a recommendation based on my past purchases, good job flipkart!). The illustrations are beautiful and pleasing. It is also one of the few Indian books in English which uses the language as if it is an Indian language. Wonderful work by the author. Kids under 5 will absolutely love the book. Highly recommended.

This book is a good choice for kids as it has nice illustrations and a simple storyline. Makes a good and short read. Since it is by an indian author its is nice to be able to introduce tour child to books with indian settings.

This humorous story, of an elephant's big cold and the pandemonium it unleashes, sits on top of my 2.5 year old' shelf. The rhythm of the narrative infused with words like 'pachaak' and 'damaal' is sure to keep any toddler hooked.
