Summary of the Book

In Westeros, a cold wind blows. It is imbued with the steely resilience of metal and the grim nature of blood. The Others come, wielding strange and mystic powers. They are masters of undead powers, their animated corpses will not fall even when struck, and the Seven Kingdoms are too busy bickering among themselves to pose a threat. In Westeros, all men must die and the wind blows, bringing winter with it.
