This book has been written with a view to place before the beginners of this subject, a course of study prescribed by most of the Universities under the subject 'Gas Turbine Theory and Jet Propulsion'. For the sake of ease in understanding some parts of the work have been given simpler approach that the latest refinement of method would permit. The theory alone does not make the idea, for that problems based on that theory are very necessary. Such problems have been worked out in every chapter which are mostely obtained from university papers. The problems are dealt in SI units. A few unsolved problems for exercise to the students have also been given at the end of each chapter.
