Its a GATE, IES recommended book. given in simple language. must buy it. Better than ganeshan book. helpful for self study

It is a average book. For competitive exams , u can look up to it. But it 8s better than one written by ganesh.

Discussion on Axial & Centrifugal Compressors are good. A good number of example problems are also given at the end of these chapters. Discussion on Axial Turbine is also good. But very few problems are discussed at the end. Radial Turbines are not at all discussed. Discussion on Combustion Chambers, Jet Propulsion are not sufficient. Rockets are discussed briefly.
