Geet Gungunao / गीत गुनगुनाओ  (Hindi, Paperback, Kusum Agarwal)

The ability to express itself in a few words, rhetoric and lyricism are some of the special qualities of poetry, due to which poems seem to be different from other genres of literature. And then there is something unique about children's songs. When little children, in their melodious speech, hum these songs, the atmosphere becomes melodious, and when the poet fills these tiny songs with different emotions, the listener becomes overwhelmed by listening to them. Little children are innocent. They do not understand the meaning of the poem, but its rhythm and rhyme attracts them and due to this attraction, they hum these rhymes while playing, eating, sleeping or waking up. 'Geet-Gungunao' is my second children's song collection. My first children's song collection 'Geet-Gulshan' was published in 2001 in the courtesy of 'Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi'. After this, many children's songs were written and they continued to be published in various magazines but I could not get another collection published. But these days I realised that there is a need to publish a collection of children's songs to make children's songs available to more and more children for a long time. It is in this effort that this children's song collection has been prepared. Hope the kids will like it and they will hum the songs regularly. These songs not only contain entertainment, but also light information and lessons.
