The Shreemad Bhagavad Geetaa translates to "songs" or "sermons sung by God." This book is presented in the form of an Upanishad and philosophical treatise (Shaastra). By reading this text repeatedly, one experiences a new flow of understanding in the heart each time. When this flow is compared to the knowledge found in the Vedas and Upanishads, it fosters an increasing curiosity to delve deeper into the text. As one reads, the stream of knowledge from the Vedas and Upanishads becomes apparent. In this philosophical context, relevant quotes from the Vedas, Upanishads, Shaastras, and various Smritis (such as Manusmriti, Yajnavalkya, and Paraashara) have been incorporated wherever necessary to enrich the discourse.
