The Gigaset A490 is a set of three cordless phones that intent to make life easier. These phones come with caller ID support, a phonebook memory of up to 80 entries and a redial feature for the last 10 calls. This trio set also comes with an innovative call transfer feature, that lets you transfer calls from one handset to the other. Each of these phones comes with two AAA batteries and a talk time of 12 hours with a standby time of 177 hours.
Store up to 80 contacts in the phonebook, go through the last 25 calls and even redial the last 10 calls at the press of a button.
With the call transfer feature, you can transfer calls from one handset to the other so it'll come in handy if you want to transfer a client call to your colleague.
This phone has the caller ID feature so it displays the name of the caller. In case you miss a call while you are away from your desk, you can view the missed call notification on the phone's illuminated display
Each of these phones comes with two AAA batteries. The handsets have a talk time of 12 hours and a standby time of 177 hours.
These phones have a range of up to 300 m outdoors and up to 50 m indoors.

Worth every penny
The handset has stopped working all of a sudden. I am not getting any help from the manufacturer. The service center is located in Mumbai and they are not responding at all. There is no service centers in Bangalore to get this sorted.
