The Girl I Last Loved: The Girl Who Never Loved Me Back… is a moving love story written by the bestselling author of Let’s Get Committed, Smita Kaushik.

    Summary of the Book

Akash is an ambitious young man who wants to achieve it all, but is simply unable to love. Then there is Kasam, who is just not within Akash's reach. The Girl I Last Loved poignantly describes how it is to live like friends when one has true feelings of love for the other. And while Akash becomes a corporate junkie eventually in his life, Kasam is working as a professional motivator, which makes them all the more different as individuals than ever. Although Akash did have many chances to confess his love for her, he was unable to do so. He has fought the pain and anguish all his life. Will it allow him to fight more for love? Will Kasam ever come to know of Akash's feelings for her? Read this beautiful story that moves you to the point of tears, to find out what happens in the lives of the protagonists. Smita brings out the delicate nuances of deeply hidden love for someone as beautifully as you had never known before.

I finished and liked her second book... The Girl I Last Loved.

Overall a nice book and I loved reading it. I love Smita's words for her simplicity and preciseness. It's a book for light reading but it is a book that makes you think a lot. It is a kind of a book that is very easy to relate to.

I would definitely consider this book to gift my close friends and relation on special occasion.

EPIC: The Girl I Last Loved. The Girl Who Always Loved Me Back!

It would be too awful just to say that the book was good.. It won't do justice.. The Girl I last loved is an unusual story with 'Happy Ending'.. It's a love saga spreading in a decade. The story revolves around Akash and Kasam, the two protagonist who themselves actually know that they are in love, but don't let each other know the same.. Their paths cross several times but they're left no revealing and sometimes the reader will feel irritated but that's what the charm of the love saga.. The ...

    Must Buy!!

This was the very first novel that I ever read. I started reading it while travelling in train and I got really into it but others switched off the lights. I kept thinking about the story all through the night and when I reached home at 2am, I woke up all night to finish it. I loved it so much, I used to narrate it's story to everyone I met. I started out with it because my friends thought I couldn't complete one, but after getting done with it, reading novels became a hobby.
    My favourite par...

    More than back read offered!

Its a splash of relief from the books of similar genre.
I was captivated by the back read so ordered it but found so much more.
The has so many different levels.
At times i was emotional and at others motivated.
Author has handled such diverse and intense subplots with utter maturity.
The motivational speeches of Kasam, back story of each characters, complex thoughts of Akash,
    Friendship, growing up, changing relationships.
    It was an enthralling read.
I sdored the way Akash observes Kasam's e...
