Lalita Sahasranamam is a compilation of the thousand divine names of Jagatmatri Sri Lalita Devi. This divine work was sung by the Vagdevis (Goddesses of Speech), who were appointed by the Goddess herself. Previously, we were pleased to present an English compilation of the lecture series delivered by Sri Subi Subramanian for the Sringeri Vidya Bharati Foundation (SVBF North, USA) located near Detroit (Michigan), USA. This compilation now presents the highlights of those lectures in Tamil. With the help of Sri Bhaskararaya's rare and unparalleled commentary on the Lalita Sahasranamam, six people have come together to decorate and explain the meanings of the Sanskrit names, separating them word by word, with appropriate references. Scholars say that "it is appropriate to chant the Sahasranamam with an understanding of its meaning." In this way, this collection of names, where each name shines as a mantra, is presented with rich meaning in beautiful Tamil. It is certain that the immense grace of the Supreme Being—where 'This is That, That is This, and everything is That'—will also manifest from this small book.
