K C R Raja has been an ardent devotee of Guruvayurappan. Professionally, he is a management educator and mentor who hs mentored management practitioners and management faculty at business schools. Raja has also been engaged in the study, along with a close group of associates, of the relevance to management of India's cultural traditions. He has advocated the need for an inner journey for the manager because he believes that before managing materials and men, and objects outside of himself the manager must focus od development of the self. Such development goes beyond physical, intellectual and emotional development; it has a spiritual dimension. Indian philosophy can help immensely in developing that spiritual dimension.Raja is the co- author of a book Ethics and indian Ethos in Management.
