GoFree PC fan splitter Y-cable connects one motherboard fan header to four fans. Most motherboards have only one system fan header and when you have four fans to connect to the motherboard you can use this cable. More fans in the PC cabinet increases air flow and hence keeps the PC cool. This cable supports both 3pin and 4pin fans. Compatibility with all popular brands of cooling fans such as Antec, Corsair, Circle, Cooler Master etc. Out of the four fan connectors on the cable, one fan connector has 4-pins (master) and other two fan connectors have 3-pins (slave). The master fan reads the speed control RPM data from the mother board header and passes it on to the slave fans as well. All four fans run at the same speed as controlled by the motherboard and/or motherboard fan speed control software. Great looking nylon braiding keeps your insides of your cabinet looking neat and clean. The black braiding neatly camouflages with the rest of the cables and does not get damaged by the sharp edges of the cabinet chassis. The length of the cable is 27cm (allow +/- 2cm variation) and it’s an ideal length to reach to the fans from the motherboard header pin.
