Ambedkar, Rabindranath Tagore, Womesh Chandra Bonnerjee, Salman Rushdie, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Vinayak Savarkar, M. Singaravelu, Iqbal, Subhas Chandra Bose, Narasimha Rao and Jayaprakash Narayan.

    About the Editor

    Rudrangshu Mukherjee is an Indian historian and the Opinions Editor of The Telegraph newspaper, Kolkata and the Vice Chancellor for Ashoka University. A graduate of Presidency College, Kolkata and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Dr. Mukherjee completed his D.Phil. at the University of Oxford. He has also edited The Penguin Gandhi Reader and has written Art of Bengal: A Vision Defined, 1955-75.
