Yogendra Singh Yadav was born on May 10, 1980 in the Ahir village of Aurangabad in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh. Rank—Grenadier, Retired as Honorary Captain Unit—18 Grenadiers War—Kargil War (Operation Vijay – 1999) Award—ParamVir Chakra Recognition—five months old when he joined the Indian Army. He became the youngest 'ParamVir Chakra' awardee at the age of 19 years. The entire world will always remember the exemplary valour displayed by the Indian soldiers in the Kargil war. Grenadier Yogendra Singh Yadav not only defeated the enemy but also dodged death in this war. At the time of receiving the ParamVir Chakra award he was only 19 years of age. He is the youngest soldier to have received the ParamVir Chakra.

Born on September 4, 1975, in Delhi, shri Rishi Raj is presently working as Joint General Manager at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. His journey of roaming India started in the year 1994 when he joined Indian Railways. He made his writing debut in the year 2013 with the book ‘Kailash Darsnan: Kuch Yaadein, Kucn Baatein’, based on his experiences of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra undertaken in the year 2012. In 2015, his book ‘Atulya Bharat Ki Khoj‘ and in 2017, ‘Deshbhakti ke Pawan Teerth were published. The book ‘Ek Bhartiya KI Japan Yatra was published in the year 2019. All these books have been awarded the prestigious ‘Rahul Sankrityayan Award initiated by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. In December 2019, the book ‘50 Mahan swatantrata Senani‘ was released, which gives a subtle introduction to the life of our country’s great freedom fighters. In the year 2022, his book ‘Kargil: Ek Yatri Ki Zubani has been released, which was dedicated to the martyrs of the Kargil War. Along with this, he has also written seven pictorial illustrations, depicting the life story of Kargil war heroes, for the children.
