About The Author
S.M. MATHUR M.Sc. (Geology), is an experienced field geologist who served for nearly 30 years in the Geological Survey of India. After retirement as director, he served as C.S.I.R. Emeritus Scientist for about six years at the Centre of Advanced Study in Geology, University of Saugar. He is presently working as a geological consultant.
