Must have book for every retailer on the Indian stock market

All the gurus have something great to offer the reader. The last guru termed as anonymous is not at all anonymous for someone who knows which iconic fund he is talking about. Actually after reading about these gurus I found out more about them from the internet and this book was a good starting point. My favorite is Sanjoy Bhattacharya and Anonymous. Infact after finding about Anonymous I followed his interviews and gained more insight into value investing. A must read book as per me!

    Poor book

This book reads like a marketing campaign for our mutual fund houses in India. I don’t know who is the target audience for this book but I would not recommend this book to beginners also, reason for that would be because after reading this book person can subscribe to the mutual fund of the companies whose managers have been interviewed. Well there is no doubt that the fund managers are professional investors & its best to get your money managed by professionals but why the author has not ...

This book is very helpful for understanding nuances of Indian financial markets

Majority of investors in Indian stock market are clueless about what is happening around the Indian public corporations. In the last few years we have observed the sharp failure of Unit-linked Insurance Policies (ULIPs), Mutual Funds and also Stock Markets, eroding small-investors' investments and savings. There were issues of mis-governance, accounting frauds and jeopardizing investors' money by greedy top management in the corporate world. Small investors also wonder why highly paid finance...

Good book on Indian Markets and Funds

Sure there are books on investing and fund management but very few good books on Indian Markets and Indian Fund Management, this is one of them. The author takes us through the investing styles and fundas of 6 gurus. There is also a mystical unnamed guru that keeps you wondering. In between the interviews of the gurus, he presents his own experience, things to watch out for and things to avoid. In short, a good read for anyone who has just entered or wants to enter the Capital Market sector o...
