Great reference book

This book was the reason why I cleared my Exam and even mustered courage to appear for the exam. The book visually teaches you erudite concepts of project management and makes you prepared for the exam.They have plenty of exercises after each chapter which will ensure that your foundations of each chapter are in place. It is an awesome book for them who are just starting their prepration for PMP. The concept are taught so clearly that you will get involve so easily.no matter if you are going for PMP exams or not. Excellent book for beginners, would definitely recommend as 1st book to start your preparation for PMP. Keeps you excited with example led approach, also helps you understand PMBOK concepts. Exercise questions at the end of each chapter were very useful in preparation for final exam.

Brilliant for the ones preparing for PMP

The book lived up to the reviews by others and I feel I have made a right choice. It provides nice description of the terms and the relationship of the processes as per the PMBoK guide. It gives a boost to individuals preparing for the exam.
Thanks to the publishers for an edition meant for South Asian readers who will have a cheap and cheerful option.
As usual, Flipkart has no match with its delivery timelines and customer service.
A must for a PMP/CAPM student.

Amazing book !!!

Simple, Lucid language...concepts are explained in an innovative way..I have cleared PMP exam in first go after preparing for 45 days after training and the credite goes to this book...I would strongly recommend it for the people..

Definitely Recommended

Agreed that the quality of the book is not good.. however the real book costs about 4.5K . This one is an Indian edition and the cost cutting is definitely evident while handling the book.

That being said, the book itself is a superb reading material for PMP Exam. Just cleared the exam on 24th May, 2014 and this was one of the major reasons for clearing the exam.

Especially recommended if you do not have a management background and cannot focus for long hours at work !
